Load Planner (Logistics Operator) – Contract

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Load Planner (Logistics Operator) to support daily transportation operations at our Coppell, TX location. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in FTL/LTL transportation , strong customer service skills, and the ability to manage multiple logistics activities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as primary point of contact for customer relations
• Manage daily logistics operations including booking, tracking, and tracing (FTL/LTL/Air)
• Ensure compliance with SOPs and operational best practices
• Negotiate spot rates and request quotes from carriers
• Communicate daily with customers, carriers, and internal teams
• Maintain accurate documentation and data entry in Cello and other systems
• Analyze service and cost data to recommend process improvements
• Prepare reports including service failures, claims, and damages
• Monitor operational trends and report findings to management

Requirements & Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
• 4+ years of experience in transportation dispatching or logistics operations
• Strong proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong customer orientation and negotiation skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Experience with NAFTA/USMCA cross-border transportation preferred
• Warehouse and/or manufacturing experience preferred
