Shifts:
Days: 07:30–19:30 (3x12)
\t Nights: 20:00–08:00 (3x12)
\t Schedule: Alternating Days/Nights, Every Other Weekend (EOW)
The PACU RN provides high-quality post-anesthesia care to patients recovering from surgical procedures. This role requires strong critical-care assessment skills, rapid patient stabilization, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
Experience RequirementsMinimum 2 years PACU experience required
\tWill consider first-time travelers with a combined 3–5 years PACU experience plus minimum 2 years ICU experience

\tDaily Census: 15–20 patients
\tCommon Surgical Procedures:
\tOrthopedics
\t\tCardiothoracic (CTS)
\t\tNeurosurgery
\t\tVascular
\t\tGeneral Surgery
\t\tThoracic
\t\tUrology
\t\tGynecology
\t\tScrubs: Navy Blue
\tHolidays: Required as scheduled
\tWeekends: Every other weekend
\tFloating: Required within PACU specialty if census is low
\tOn-Call: Currently not implemented; if introduced, travelers must comply (30–45 days advance notice provided)
